LETTER FROM THE 2007 PTHAWW SWEETHEART PRINCESS

Hi,
My name is Mallory Dobbs and I am the 2007 Sweetheart Princess of the PtHAWW. Throughout the year I
have met many new people, and took the long and "exciting" drive down to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Pinto
nationals. Going to Worlds was very exciting. Just to see all the different horses, and even the shopping!!! I
will have to admit before I actually go and show over at worlds I might have to get a SA/PL. The difference
between people with ST/HU and SA/Pl really shows at Worlds!!
It was a great experience to be Sweetheart Princess and help out by passing out awards at the shows. I now
know a lot more people then when I started!! I don’t know what else to say I just know that being Sweetheart
Princess really helped me out with my show year and that it gave me a great experience in royalty.   Thank
you to all my family and friends who helped me this year.  I want to congratulate the girls who have made the
2008 royal court.  Enjoy the rest of the shows.  Thanks again for a great year.

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Hi Everyone – After 3 years as your newsletter editor, I bid you farewell.  It has been a lot of work doing the
newsletter as well as a lot of fun.  I have really enjoyed getting to know so many Pinto enthusiasts, striving to
keep everyone fully informed of ever changing agendas and getting the opportunity to write about some very
interesting subjects.

I want to take a moment to thank my daughter, Heidi, for being my right hand person.  She has done most of
the typing and setting up programs for me.  When people told me what a good job I did they really should
have said it to Heidi.  Thank you Heidi.

What’s next?  I have my first ROM with my five year old gelding, Guess Ya Spotted me.  We are trying some
new avenues and hope to explore English, Western and maybe even cart.  I also recently bought a new
horse.  He will debut next spring.

Farewell guys.  Heidi and I will be seeing you at the shows.

Your new newsletter editor is Vanessa Johnson-Smith.  Her email address is vanmar@gte.net

Keep Smiling
Debbie Rhodes
