Mallory Dobbs, 2012 PtHAWW Queen

The royalty program establishes a royalty court that includes a queen and princesses. The courts mission is to support the club and to promote the Pinto Horse and PtHA. And above all the queen and her court should personify the club with sportsmanship and grace.

Hi! My name is Mallory Dobbs and I am 18 years old and I am a senior at North Thurston High School. I have been involved with PtHAWW for about 7 years now, along with being involved in the royalty program for 4 years. I have shown a variety of breeds at the Pinto shows but this year I will be riding my 6 year old Paint, Wylee, whom I have had for a little over 2 years now. I will also be showing a pony by the name of Cutie for the first time. For my post-graduation plans I will be going to Saint Martin’s University to major in civil engineering. I chose St. Martin’s not only for their engineering programs, but also to stay close to home so I can keep showing! I am excited to be the PtHAWW Queen this year not only to help out the club, but also to meet new people. I Hope to see you all at the shows!

Each year PtHAWW helps celebrate its members accomplishments with championship rides and celebrations up and down the barn aisles. This is a chance for everyone to share in the individual’s accomplishments and the special bond between horse and rider.

Championship Rides

PtHAWW offers higher education scholarships for its members. This year one $500 scholarship will be awarded to an applicant that has exemplified excellence in sportsmanship, academics and horsemanship.
