Congratulations Laura Henning
Crowned 2007-08 PtHAWW Queen!
Hi everyone!
I hope all is going well and everyone who attended the
last PtHAWW show, the Poorboy, had a great time! I
know with the 2007 season coming to an end it is sad, but
also tremendously exciting for the upcoming 2008 year.
Already there has been activity with the royalty. During
late August, some time before the show, at the Kitsap
County Fair and Stampede Belle and I were asked to do
grand entries with other royalties in the afternoons and it
really was a blast. Not only getting to know the other girls
from other courts, I was able to teach others about our
amazing horses. Also I would like to send out a big thank
you to the State Line Tack people from Petsmart in
Silverdale for donating tons of equine treatments, clothes,
and such to the royalty for raffling and auction! Hopefully
soon we will get together an auction filled with these great
products so be sure to join us!
The next big event we're looking forward to is the end of
the year banquet which should be lots of fun and be sure
to be there to get your awards and to see the 2008 court
be crowned! It will be an amazing night and hope to see
you all there.

Congratulations Brynn Larson
Crowned 2007-08 PThAWW Princess
Brynn has a new horse though...this is Bob. (Chullas Hot
Roddin') He is five years old and loves patterns, especially
Western Riding. Brynn is 14 years old and is a Freshman
at Hockinson High School. A 4.0 student, her involvement
in rodeo, harness, gaming, and 4-H, keeps her busy. She
plays the flute and is actively involved in leadership and
the equestrian team. Brynn is looking forward to showing
and representing the Western Washington Pinto Horse
Association in Washington, Oregon and the World show in
2008.

Congratulations Erica Morris
2007-08 Jr. Princess
Erica is 16 years old and a Junior at Hockinson High School
but is accelerating to a Senior and will graduate with honors in
June 2008. She is also currently enrolled at Clark College
where she is taking classes toward her Associates degree.
She plans on attending Washington State University or the
University of Michigan in the fall of 2008 as a pre-vet student.
Erica plays soccer for Hockinson High School, is President of
her 4H club, competes on and is Treasurer of the Hockinson
High School Equestrian Team for the 3rd year and participates
in many community services including her Senior project which
provides educational materials for disadvantaged children in
the hopes to provide them the opportunity to learn and grow
through a fun, positive medium. She has been showing her 12
year old Stock type Gelding, Sensational Knight, aka Dexter,
for 2 years now and in Pinto for 4 years. Her favorite events
are Hunter Under Saddle and Showmanship. She also shows
Charisma Petesdragon, aka Pete, in In-Hand Trail and
Jumping In-Hand where she is fighting for the top placing on
the Pinto Horse of the Year list. Erica is looking forward to
representing PtHAWW with hard work and a positive attitude at
the local and World Shows in 2008.

Congratulations Lindsey Morris
Crowned 2007-08 Jr. Princess
Lindsey is 15 years old and a Freshman at Hockinson High
School where she is a 4.0 student. She enjoys all kinds of
music; including playing the piano and singing in the choir.
She is a Varsity Cheerleader at Hockinson High School, is
actively involved in many community service projects, has
been Secretary of her 4 H club for the last 2 years, is on the
Hockinson High School Equestrian Team, shows in 4H and
Pinto shows and loves to trail ride. Family is very important to
Lindsey where she helps and admires her brother Tyler. She
recently wrote an essay at school describing how he is her
“Hero” because of the hardships he has to overcome on a
daily basis. She has been showing her 5 year old Hunter type
Mare, Impressed By Baxter, aka Dixie, for a little over a year
now and has made great strides. They have learned a lot from
each other; trust, understanding, friendship, love, compassion,
determination and how to have fun. Lindsey hopes to
represent PtHAWW by spreading her cheer and love of family
and friends in a way that brings more people to the
organization and makes everyone feel Welcome.

Jessica Davidson is 12 years old and lives in Monroe, WA.
Jessica’s experience with horses is extensive. She’s been
riding horses since she was 2 years old and attended her
first Pinto World show at 5. She likes to drive her ponies, Mt
Meadow Lady Di and Tiger Mania in reinsmanship classes.
This year, Jessica will show her Stock type mare, Party Girl
in Walk Trot classes. Jessica has fun at horse shows and
hopes to work hard for PtHAWW.
